Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Honorio Banario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Mack or perhaps it was just good defense by Banario which made him look bad.

Mack is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Banario creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Mack is pushing Banario up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mack is trying to drag Banario to the mat but Banario just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Banario shoots in for a double leg but Mack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Banario has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mack uses from the top position.

Honorio Banario showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
