The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boycheck throws a sloppy head kick and Sokoloff moves out of range easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boycheck.
Sokoloff stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boycheck.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sokoloff has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Boycheck throws the kick towards the body but Sokoloff avoids it.

Boycheck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sokoloff but Sokoloff pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fight stays on the outside here - Boycheck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sokoloff connects with a nice short shot to Boycheck's temple.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sokoloff cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Sokoloff! Boycheck is hurt baaadly! Sokoloff is firing away with more strikes - Boycheck is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
