Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Israel Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Dator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dator as he avoids it easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Dator checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Dator's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Wood tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dator swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dator moves in looking to clinch but Wood pushes him off.

Wood is looking to get back to full guard here but Dator has managed to pass to side control instead.
