Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxwell Woodward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice is looking to clinch but Woodward is avoiding it.
Slice has a takedown stuffed.
Slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Woodward avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Slice forces Woodward back against the cage and clinches.

Woodward is fighting off a takedown attempt but Slice is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Woodward to the mat. Woodward regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Slice stays in close to Woodward's body and controls the position.
Woodward could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Slice throwing strikes but missing.

Slice drops back looking for a leg! Woodward is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Woodward manages to kick Slice off! Slice jumps back into Woodward's guard.
Slice controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Slice wants to control from the top but Woodward keeps moving.
Slice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Woodward swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kimbo Slice wasn't active enough on the ground.

Slice closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Slice lands in his opponent's guard.
Slice pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Woodward is keeping the position for now.
Slice wants to control from the top but Woodward keeps moving.
Slice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Woodward is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Slice throwing strikes but missing.
Slice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Slice trying to control but Woodward is working from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kimbo Slice wasn't active enough on the ground.
Slice has his takedown stuffed

and Woodward counters with a nice double leg into side control. Slice won't be happy with that.

Slice is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimbo Slice dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Slice shoots in for a double leg but Woodward sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Slice closes this distance looking for a takedown but Woodward circles away.

Slice looking to score a takedown here. Woodward is defending well but Slice drives through and ends up in Woodward's guard.
Slice tries to free his leg and advance position but Woodward is retaining full guard.
Slice is looking to advance position but Woodward has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Slice is in all sorts of trouble here.

Woodward is looking to stand but Woodward has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Slice tries to lock up and control but Woodward gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Slice is just holding on here. Woodward manages to take his back.

Slice is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Woodward is looking to get the fight back to the feet.

Slice wants to escape the position.
Slice keeps trying to improve his position.
Slice prevents his opponent from getting back to his feet.
Slice tries to break free.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Slice gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Woodward prevents a takedown attempt there.
Maxwell Woodward has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Slice.
Woodward is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Slice is defending well.

Slice gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Slice prevents Woodward from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kimbo Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Slice throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Woodward wants to get back to his feet.
Slice trying to mount his opponent but Woodward defends it.
Slice is keen to just control but Woodward is a slippery customer.
Slice missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slice frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Slice misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Slice connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

It looks like Maxwell Woodward has been cut.
Slice is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Slice breaks from Woodward's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slice throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Woodward because Slice loaded up on that one.
Slice throwing strikes here but Woodward is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Kimbo Slice has got the better of the ground game so far.
Slice looking to control but Woodward is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Slice trying to control but Woodward is having none of it.

Slice unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Woodward wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Slice celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
