Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Panther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quentin Reyes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quentin Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Panther! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panther looking to score a takedown here. Reyes is defending well but Panther drives through and ends up in Reyes's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Panther prevents Reyes from getting back to his feet. Panther drops back looking for a leg! Reyes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reyes manages to kick Panther off! Panther jumps back into Reyes's guard. Panther trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reyes trying to control the position.
Panther throwing strikes from guard but Reyes blocks nicely. Panther has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reyes is proving hard to escape from. Panther is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

James Panther has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Some bone on bone action there as Reyes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Panther closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Panther lands in his opponent's guard. Panther is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Reyes keeping moving, preventing Panther from controlling successfully. Reyes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panther seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Panther passes easily into side control. Nice work. Reyes tries to buck Panther off but Panther is having none of it. Sloppy strikes there by Panther. Reyes wants to control but Panther postures up. Reyes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panther is trying to get an arm triangle but Reyes is defending well. Panther moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Panther lands some shots froms side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes is trying to get back to half guard. Panther takes a little break here. Reyes wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Reyes is looking to reverse the position. Panther decides to stand back up. Panther steps back and let's Reyes get back to his feet. Reyes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Panther gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reyes takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Panther dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Panther throws a right hand that Reyes ducks under and follows up with a left that Reyes also avoids with ease. Panther clinches up against the cage. Panther breaks from the clinch.
Panther gets the takedown into side control. Reyes can't do much from the bottom here. Panther controls the position from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Panther wants to stand but Reyes is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes is pushing Panther's head away, looking to escape. Panther manages to hold on to the position though. Reyes is trying to escape the position but Panther is controlling the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. James Panther was stalling too much, according to the referee. Panther instigates a clinch. Panther goes for a takedown in the clinch but Reyes prevents it.
Panther using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Reyes has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Reyes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Panther just stands there and leans against the cage. Panther gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Reyes.
Panther with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes jumps guard but Panther stands there with Reyes around his waist. Reyes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quentin Reyes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Panther lands a hook that snaps the head of Reyes backwards. Panther throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Reyes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Panther to keep the fight standing. Panther is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Panther is looking for a takedown. Reyes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Reyes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Panther has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panther pulls Reyes into guard.
Panther is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Panther manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Panther tries to control but Reyes wriggling away. Reyes takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Reyes wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Panther trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Reyes doesn't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panther lands a shot to the body. Reyes wants to control his opponent's hands but Panther gets his hands free. Reyes showing good submission defense here.
This has been an exciting period of action! Panther has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Reyes's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Panther showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Panther changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Panther manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Panther shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reyes pinned against the cage. Reyes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Panther misses with a right hand and Reyes counters with a stiff right hand. Reyes wants to clinch but Panther slips to the side and Panther counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Reyes wants to improve his position but Panther is controlling well.
James Panther has got the better of the ground game so far. Reyes is pressing down on Panther's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Panther wants to get up but he can't break Reyes's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Panther controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Panther forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panther is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reyes has managed to free his arm - good work. Panther slows the pace down in half guard. Panther passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panther is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reyes has escaped the position, nice work there. Panther lands a nice forearm strike. Panther scores with punches from side control. Panther slows the pace down. Panther gets to mount! Reyes was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Reyes is squirming around, avoiding Panther's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panther manages to capitalize on a mistake by Reyes to take his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Panther just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Panther lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Reyes.

Panther is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Reyes has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reyes wants to escape the position.
And that's the end of the fight! James Panther comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Panther has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
