Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lemuel Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joni Mcdougall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdougall moves in looking to clinch but Stevens pushes him off.
Mcdougall wants to clinch.
Mcdougall goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses.
Stevens tries for a takedown but Mcdougall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mcdougall shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Mcdougall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stevens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcdougall as he jumps to the side.
Mcdougall throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Mcdougall scores with a head kick. Stevens tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Lemuel Stevens has been cut.
Mcdougall shoots in looking for a takedown but Stevens manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcdougall's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mcdougall takes the fight into the clinch.
Mcdougall jumps guard.
Stevens throwing strikes from guard but Mcdougall blocks nicely.
Stevens drops back looking for a leg! Mcdougall is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcdougall manages to kick Stevens off! Stevens jumps back into Mcdougall's guard.
Stevens working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Stevens throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcdougall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stevens in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Stevens throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevens thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mcdougall doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Stevens wants to pass the guard but Mcdougall is keeping the position.
Mcdougall controls Stevens momentarily but Stevens frees himself.
Stevens throws an elbow that misses. Mcdougall uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stevens's guard. Nice move by Mcdougall!

Stevens is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Stevens looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stevens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcdougall manages to get himself to full guard.
Stevens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcdougall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stevens paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mcdougall has gone for a leg lock! Stevens slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcdougall's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stevens decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Mcdougall wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Stevens's closed guard. He's half up but Stevens has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Stevens pivots and extends the arm, Mcdougall falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Stevens! Well done that man!
