Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Tatsuya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nosmo Pleeze!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pleeze looks to land a left hand but Tatsuya moved out of range nicely.
Tatsuya shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pleeze blocks a head kick by Tatsuya.
Tatsuya fails with a takedown attempt.
Pleeze misses with a looping left.
Tatsuya tries for a takedown but Pleeze circles away easily
and Pleeze counters with a single leg into guard. Tatsuya didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinji Tatsuya. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tatsuya controls Pleeze momentarily but Pleeze frees himself.
Pleeze pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tatsuya is keeping the position for now.
Tatsuya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pleeze on the ground.
Pleeze wants to control from the top but Tatsuya keeps moving.
Pleeze stays in close to Tatsuya's body and controls the position.
Pleeze landing some decent shots from guard.

Pleeze slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Tatsuya tries to buck Pleeze off but Pleeze is having none of it.

Tatsuya takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Pleeze lands some shots froms side control.
Pleeze wants to control but Tatsuya is keeping him busy.
Pleeze tries to advance to mount but Tatsuya denies him.
Pleeze staying calm.
Pleeze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tatsuya keeps working.

Pleeze is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Tatsuya looks calm but he's in trouble here. Pleeze gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Tatsuya is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Pleeze lets go of the hold and Tatsuya can pop his arm back in it's socket.
