PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gayle Albert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Tatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albert tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tatch defends well and Albert ends up having to push Tatch into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tatch tries to circle away but Albert has him pinned against the cage.

Albert ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Albert no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tatch gets to his feet. Albert looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Tatch throws a series of strikes that have Albert backpedaling.

It looks like Gayle Albert has been cut.
Albert shoots in for a takedown but Tatch shows good takedown defense.
Albert tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tatch was well out of range. Poor timing from Albert.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Albert lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Tatch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Albert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Albert seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Tatch is staying active underneath Albert, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tatch is trying to control but Albert manages to pass to mount!
Tatch avoids a series of strikes thrown by Albert.

Albert goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tatch is on top in guard.

Tatch throws a strike but Albert rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tatch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Albert wants to pass the guard but Tatch is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gayle Albert.

Tatch scores with a hook to the body. Albert takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Albert throws a jab but it's blocked by Tatch.
Albert misses with a takedown attempt - Tatch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Tatch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Albert.
Tatch lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tatch.

Albert fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tatch avoids it really well and circles away.

Tatch closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Albert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tatch wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Albert is trying to pull guard but Tatch turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Tatch can't break the clinch.
Tatch looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tatch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tatch tries to circle away but Albert has him pinned against the cage.
Albert tries to work over Tatch's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Tatch knocks out Albert with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Tatch before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Tatch picks up the big W with a huge KO!
