The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Peterson.
Guerra connects with a high kick.
Guerra fails to land the takedown.
Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peterson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Guerra slips under a jab from Peterson.
Peterson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Guerra throws out the jab.
Guerra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Peterson looks to land a combination. Guerra sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Alonzo Guerra has been cut.
Peterson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Peterson throws a right hand that Guerra ducks under and follows up with a left that Guerra also avoids with ease.
Guerra goes for a double leg but Peterson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Peterson continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alonzo Guerra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peterson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Guerra walks away with a smile on his face. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Peterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Peterson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Peterson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Peterson duly obliges.
Guerra lands a head kick. Peterson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Peterson moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Guerra! Peterson continues to tee off on Guerra, landing with a left and a right! Peterson connects with a right hand that leaves Guerra sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Peterson!
