Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Greg Bice!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lord takes one on the button.
Lord takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lord looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lord misses with an uppercut

and whilst Lord still has his hands down, Bice counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Lord crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Lord be able to survive another onslaught?
Bice has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lord is landing a low percentage of strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lord throws a jab when Bice was well out of range.
Bice swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lord.

Lord is rocked!
Bice lands a leg kick that knocks Lord off balance momentarily.

Bice gets a clinch.
Lord has a couple of punches blocked by Bice.
Lord scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lord lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bice backwards.
Lord struggles to land a body shot inside as Bice controls his hands.
Lord trying to control the position but instead, Bice has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lord into the ropes.
Knees in the clinch landing for Bice.
Lord tries to stall but Bice uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bice misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lord.
Lord wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Lord.
Still in the clinch, Lord scores with a nice short uppercut.
Bice takes a shot to the head.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Bice throws an elbow but misses.
Lord tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bice's elbow.
Lord takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Peter Lord has been cut.

Lord breaks from the clinch.
Lord showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bice.
Lord bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bice connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lord's hands.

Lord moves into range and clinches up with Bice.
Lord lands an elbow just above Bice 's eye.

It looks like Greg Bice has been cut.
Bice is leaning against Lord and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Lord on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lord throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Lord is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Lord is stalling here.
Bice wants to stall.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lord tries to stall but Bice uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Lord throws an elbow but misses.
Bice is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lord lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bice backwards.
Lord connects with a knee to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bice using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lord has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lord displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bice up against the ropes.
Bice is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Greg Bice should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lord lunges at Bice with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bice's hand.
Lord swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Greg Bice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bice misses with a straight left.
Bice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lord misses with a few strikes there.

Bice gets tackled into the ropes by Lord. Lord maintains the clinch.
Lord stalling the fight.
Bice trying to stall but Lord improves his position.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Lord creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bice working aggressively here.
Lord softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Bice misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lord.

Lord escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bice lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Lord walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bice checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lord looks to throw the jab but Bice is out of range.
Lord with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bice to score with a decent uppercut.

Oh Lord is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lord drops his guard momentarily, allowing Bice to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Lord! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Bice takes it!
