Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Kahle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Donovan Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gary Kahle! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kahle blocks a head kick by Knox.
Kahle with a poor takedown and Knox counters by clinching up. Knox pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Knox is pulling down on Kahle's head. It's preventing any offense from Kahle, at least for the moment. Kahle looking to pass the guard. Knox is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kahle is controlling him. Knox looking for a guillotine here but Kahle defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Knox pulls Kahle in close to prevent any damage. Knox keeping moving, preventing Kahle from controlling successfully. Knox working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kahle has passed into half guard!

Knox is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knox is concentrating on defense, preventing Kahle from advancing position. Knox has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Donovan Knox has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Knox takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Donovan Knox has been cut. Kahle misses with a takedown and Knox counters with a nice body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knox misses with a double jab.
Knox pushes Kahle up against the cage in a clinch. Knox tries for a takedown but Kahle manages to get underhooks.
Knox gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kahle regains guard.
Kahle has a closed guard, preventing Knox from standing up. Knox is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knox tries to free his leg and advance position but Kahle is retaining full guard. Knox is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kahle throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Knox is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Knox will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kahle dives in and scores a takedown into Knox's guard. Kahle wants to control from the top but Knox keeps moving. Kahle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kahle trying to control but Knox is working from the bottom. Knox is trying to keep Kahle in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Knox looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knox shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kahle is trying to defend but Knox finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Donovan Knox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kahle wants to get back to full guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Knox lands a nice short elbow. Knox is figuring out what he wants to do next. Kahle is refusing to be controlled, as Knox sits in half guard. Kahle is in trouble now - Knox has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kahle tries to buck Knox off but he can't manage it. Knox controlling from mount. Kahle regains half guard. Knox keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Knox seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kahle for as long as he can get away with.
We're going to have a standup here because Donovan Knox wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kahle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Knox defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knox changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kahle tries to avoid it but Knox manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kahle to the ground. Kahle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Knox tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kahle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Knox stuffs the takedown attempt from Kahle. Kahle gets slowly back to his feet. Kahle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kahle is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Knox. No joy for Kahle on that attempt. Donovan Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Kahle. Knox decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knox takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knox wants to stand up but Kahle has a hold of him and won't allow it. Knox trying to mount his opponent but Kahle defends it. Knox is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kahle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Knox. Kahle looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knox perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Knox is looking for a kimura but Kahle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Knox to get the leverage. Kahle kicks off Knox and gets to his feet. Donovan Knox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kahle closes the distance but Knox moves to the side and Knox counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kahle's knee momentarily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Knox scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kahle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Knox. Knox passes to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knox rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kahle moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kahle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Knox as he avoids it easily. Knox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Knox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A slapping body kick lands there for Kahle. Knox looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Knox engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knox won't allow Kahle to sweep him here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Knox scoring with some ground and pound. Kahle looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Knox slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Knox is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kahle will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Kahle struggling a bit here. Knox has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kahle! Knox controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kahle tries to reverse the position but Knox maintains control. Kahle reaches up to try and control the position but Knox seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Kahle rolls and tries to escape and now Knox has his back!
Knox is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kahle has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Kahle is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Knox is looking for the choke from the back position but Kahle is controlling his hands well.
And that's the end of the fight! Donovan Knox showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
