Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas LaVey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaVey comes to the cage accompanied by Deicide - Scars Of The Crucifix. Corbett has chosen Men at Work - Down Under as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas LaVey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Nathan Corbett!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from LaVey.
LaVey uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Corbett has time to react.


It looks like Nathan Corbett has been cut.
Corbett jabs at LaVey's body.
Corbett moves out of range of the strikes.
LaVey misses with a wild combination.
LaVey throws a hook to the side of Corbett's head but Corbett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Corbett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
LaVey throws a low kick but it's checked well by Corbett.
A nice inside leg kick there by Corbett. That's going to slow LaVey down.
Nice cross by Corbett.


It looks like Lucas LaVey has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Corbett looks to land a right hand but LaVey moved out of range.
LaVey throws the left hand but Corbett avoids the punch easily.
LaVey has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Lion's Den in the buildup to the fight.
Corbett tries to close the distance and clinch up but LaVey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
LaVey feints and then cracks Corbett's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Corbett down.
LaVey throws a leg kick that is checked
and Corbett counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lucas LaVey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corbett uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before LaVey has time to react.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corbett throws a shot from downtown. LaVey moves away and avoids it.
LaVey avoids the head kick by Corbett.
Corbett doesn't manage to clinch there - LaVey circles away.
Corbett misses with a wild body shot.
LaVey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Corbett lands a jab to LaVey's midsection.
LaVey throws a looping overhand right but Corbett ducks down to avoid it.

Corbett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Corbett struggles to land a body shot inside as LaVey controls his hands.
Corbett misses with some punches.
LaVey tries to break free but Corbett pushes him back against the cage.

Corbett pulls guard.
LaVey wants to control from the top but Corbett keeps moving.
LaVey scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
LaVey chips away with some ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Corbett lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for LaVey!
LaVey is desperately trying to improve his position but Corbett has a good base and remains in mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
LaVey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
LaVey tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Corbett trying to control but LaVey is having none of it.
Corbett avoids the attempt from LaVey to control.

Corbett jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but LaVey manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Corbett trying to control the position but LaVey is working away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Corbett tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LaVey struggling a bit here.
Corbett taking a breather here.
Corbett sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but LaVey is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
LaVey is pushing Corbett's head away, looking to escape. Corbett manages to hold on to the position though.
Corbett wants to control but LaVey is keeping him busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
LaVey wants to control but Corbett postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
LaVey misses the shot to the body.
Corbett tries to clinch up.
Corbett misses with a body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
LaVey moves out of range of the strikes.
Corbett misses with a looping left.
A jab from LaVey misses.
LaVey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Corbett.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nathan Corbett dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A chopping leg kick lands by LaVey.
LaVey on the wrong end of a nice hook.
LaVey misses the shot to the body.
LaVey throws a head kick that misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for LaVey.
LaVey fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
LaVey misses with an uppercut
and Corbett counters with a left to the body.
Corbett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
LaVey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Corbett misses with a combination
enabling LaVey to counter with a crisp jab.
Corbett clobbers LaVey with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
LaVey on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Corbett works over LaVey's head and body with a nice combination.


LaVey is rocked!
LaVey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Corbett throws out the jab.
Oh LaVey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corbett lands with a big right hook that stumbles LaVey - he's out on his feet here! Corbett follows up with another monster hook that separates LaVey from consciousness! LaVey falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Corbett stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nathan Corbett!
A relieved looking Nathan Corbett thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
