Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gaviao JiuJitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Loconsole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loconsole has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music. Gaviao JiuJitsu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Loconsole's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gaviao JiuJitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nick Loconsole!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by JiuJitsu.
JiuJitsu really is a fat lump.
JiuJitsu is looking to take a break and control but Loconsole is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
JiuJitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Loconsole, who protects the arm well.
Loconsole striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
JiuJitsu is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
JiuJitsu tries to advance to mount but Loconsole denies him.

Loconsole can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loconsole sneaks back into half guard.
JiuJitsu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Loconsole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
JiuJitsu has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
JiuJitsu controlling the position easily from mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
JiuJitsu tries to control but Loconsole wriggling away.
JiuJitsu is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Loconsole has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Loconsole!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Loconsole is looking to work some ground and pound but JiuJitsu has wrist control.

JiuJitsu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Loconsole is one step ahead there.
JiuJitsu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Loconsole is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. JiuJitsu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Loconsole's back instead.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - JiuJitsu's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Loconsole fending off the submission attempt from JiuJitsu.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Loconsole tries to break free.
JiuJitsu is looking for the choke from the back position but Loconsole is controlling his hands well.
JiuJitsu is breathing heavily.
Loconsole trying to control the position but JiuJitsu manages to sink in the hooks.
Loconsole looking very determined here, making life difficult for JiuJitsu.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
JiuJitsu is looking for the choke from the back position but Loconsole is controlling his hands well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gaviao JiuJitsu dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big right from JiuJitsu misses.
Loconsole is looking to clinch but JiuJitsu is avoiding it.
No luck for JiuJitsu with that takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Loconsole.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
JiuJitsu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Loconsole to score with a decent uppercut.
Loconsole wants to clinch.
Nice straight punches there by Loconsole. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Loconsole.
Gaviao JiuJitsu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
JiuJitsu feints and as Loconsole raises his hands in defense, JiuJitsu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Loconsole is breathing heavily.

JiuJitsu connects with a couple of short punches.
Loconsole keeping moving, preventing JiuJitsu from controlling successfully.
JiuJitsu advances to half guard.
JiuJitsu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Loconsole doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time JiuJitsu.

JiuJitsu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
JiuJitsu passes the guard and advances to mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
JiuJitsu working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Loconsole has given up his back here. Will JiuJitsu look for the submission or keep pounding away?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
JiuJitsu is working for a rear naked choke. Loconsole is not defending it well and JiuJitsu has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Loconsole refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Loconsole's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gaviao JiuJitsu!
