Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Beautiful (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Phoenix might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Phoenix. Simon Phoenix has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Beautiful is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Phoenix.

Phoenix definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Beautiful lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Beautiful has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Timmy Beautiful seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beautiful throws a front kick aimed at Phoenix's knee but Phoenix avoids it well.
Phoenix changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Phoenix feints a jab promting Beautiful to slip. Phoenix then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Beautiful slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Beautiful throws out a loose jab but Phoenix uses good head movement to avoid it.

Phoenix circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Beautiful to the canvas! Beautiful doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Phoenix keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
