PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romeo Bellanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaylen Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellanca comes into the arena with Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold blaring out of the sound system. Jones has chosen Pastor Troy - I Want War as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Romeo Bellanca has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Romeo Bellanca seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Romeo Bellanca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones takes one on the button.
Jones throws a series of strikes that have Bellanca backpedaling.
Bellanca sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bellanca shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bellanca looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.
Jones lands a nice hook to Bellanca's body. Bellanca takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bellanca on the side of the head.
Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Bellanca dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Bellanca's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Romeo Bellanca. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bellanca tries to clinch but Jones moves away
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.
Jones bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bellanca's head.

Bellanca lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bellanca.
Jones scores with a jab to the body.
Bellanca on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Bellanca is rocked!
Jones stuns Bellanca with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oh Bellanca is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bellanca is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones throws a pinpoint strike between Bellanca's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Bellanca crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Jones scores a great knockout victory!

A less than humble Jaylen Jones misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
