Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kota Kamiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Raine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamiya comes to the ring accompanied by Muse - Supremacy. Raine is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DMX : It's Dark & Hell Is Hot. Aldo Raine told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamiya is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Raine doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kamiya.

Kamiya has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Kamiya lands a really nice looking cross but Raine seems unphased.

Raine changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kamiya fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kota Kamiya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aldo Raine.
Kamiya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raine tries to avoid it but Kamiya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raine to the ground. Raine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Raine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kamiya has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Raine has managed to get both his arms back between Kamiya's legs - danger averted.

Raine drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kamiya looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kamiya looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kamiya!

Kamiya is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Raine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Raine defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kamiya.
Kota Kamiya is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Aldo Raine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kamiya walks into a jab.

Raine connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kamiya's hands.
Raine throws a jab but it's blocked by Kamiya.

Raine swings for the body but Kamiya moves out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kota Kamiya.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kamiya, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
