Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taz Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

27 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Taz Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutten slips under a jab from Marsh.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rutten.
Rutten feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marsh's calf.
Rutten throws a leg kick which misses Marsh's front leg but catches the back leg as Marsh tries to avoid it.
Rutten scoring well with a low kick there.
Rutten just misses with a punch to the body.
Rutten dips to his left and cracks Marsh with an uppercut!
A slapping body kick lands there for Rutten.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marsh shoots in looking for a takedown but Rutten manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marsh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rutten jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rutten throws a body punch but Marsh moves out of range.
Rutten scoring well with a low kick there.
Marsh on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rutten scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Rutten fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Marsh misses with a hook. Rutten ducked under it nicely.
Marsh throws a hook but Rutten avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Rutten lands but Marsh takes it in his stride.
It looks like Randy Marsh has been cut.
Rutten misses with a head kick.
Rutten jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Marsh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rutten.
Marsh takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Marsh dips to his left and cracks Rutten with an uppercut!
A jab from Rutten misses.
Marsh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Marsh misses with a wild body shot.
Rutten cracks Marsh with an open hand slap.
Marsh is rocked!
Rutten closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Marsh! Rutten dives in looking to finish! Marsh is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taz Rutten!
A pretty intense looking Taz Rutten took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
