The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Daniel is thwarting Gracie's attempts to control the position.
Daniel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gracie has hold of Daniel's hands but Daniel slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Daniel shoots in looking for a takedown but Gracie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daniel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Daniel has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gracie clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Daniel has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gracie has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Daniel tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range.
Daniel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gracie's guard.

That's time! Daniel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Gracie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Daniel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Daniel wants to take Gracie's back here but Gracie is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
