PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Raybould (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen Fabolous - 'Breathe' as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Raybould!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Li!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raybould tries to clinch up.
Raybould stuns Li with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Li shoots for a takedown but Raybould saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Raybould ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Li moves away.

and Li counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Raybould's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Li's coach down at Imperium MMA Gym(4 Sprbt 4*+)(15 Coach)$850 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Li's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kevin Raybould has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Li.
