PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SergiO Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. DJ Khaled - All I Do Is WIN kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! SergiO Ortiz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bob Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, SergiO Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey fails with a takedown attempt.
A big left from Ortiz misses.

Bailey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ortiz tries to avoid it but Bailey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ortiz to the ground. Ortiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Ortiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
