Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddard Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eddard Stark's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Eddard Stark has been cut.

and Stark counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Silva is trying to control the position but Stark postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Stark is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Silva to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Silva shrugs it off.
