Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Fontaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenpachi Zaraki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fontaine comes to the ring accompanied by P.S. Phuk You Too. Ricky Fontaine is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Fontaine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenpachi Zaraki!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Zaraki.
A clash of legs there as Zaraki blocks the low kick.
Fontaine shoots in for a takedown but Zaraki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zaraki throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Fontaine.
A decent looking cross lands there for Zaraki.

Oooooh!!! Zaraki has knocked Fontaine down with a huge combo! Zaraki steps away and waves a wobbly Fontaine back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Fontaine is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fontaine avoids the head kick by Zaraki.
Oh Fontaine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fontaine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fontaine takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fontaine has been working on his balance at Facebreaker Academy : Striking, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Zaraki.

Fontaine closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zaraki is trying to control Fontaine's posture but Fontaine avoids it.
Fontaine postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fontaine seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Zaraki tries to improve position but can't.
Fontaine scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Zaraki to see if he's OK.
Fontaine cracks Zaraki with a big elbow.
Zaraki takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Zaraki has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Zaraki can't do much from the bottom here.

Zaraki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Zaraki is looking for a sweep. Fontaine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fontaine working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fontaine takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Zaraki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fontaine is working away from the top position though.
Fontaine is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Fontaine looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Fontaine is nestled in close to Zaraki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fontaine takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.


Zaraki is rocked!
Fontaine lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Zaraki! More strikes land and this one is all over! Fontaine jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Fontaine!
