Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between OzzakaSan Phreak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mister Thuglife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phreak closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thuglife did well to prevent Phreak getting side control.
Thuglife looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Phreak stands up from half guard.
Thuglife misses with a hook. Phreak ducked under it nicely.
OzzakaSan Phreak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Thuglife as Phreak shoots in.
Thuglife throws a low kick but Phreak moves out of range easily.
Phreak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thuglife. Thuglife obviously looking to wear him down.
Phreak shoots in for a takedown but Thuglife shows good takedown defense.

Thuglife throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thuglife can do anything to dispel that myth.

Phreak pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Phreak lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Phreak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thuglife is looking to escape.

Phreak jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Thuglife manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Phreak stands up and beckons Thuglife to his feet.

Thuglife wants to break the clinch but can't.

Phreak pulls Thuglife into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. OzzakaSan Phreak wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Phreak shoots in and drives through. Thuglife sprawls well.
Phreak misses with a takedown attempt - Thuglife sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Phreak trying to control the position but instead, Thuglife has worked for underhooks and has pushed Phreak into the cage.

Thuglife breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Phreak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
OzzakaSan Phreak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Thuglife has taken the fight to the clinch.

Thuglife's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Phreak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thuglife sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Phreak somewhat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thuglife gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Phreak.

Thuglife pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Phreak dodges the punch combination from Thuglife.

and Thuglife counters with a series of strikes. Phreak will be more careful next time no doubt.

Phreak manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Phreak is working for takedown but Thuglife is calmly controlling the position for now.

Thuglife wants to get back to striking at distance but Phreak won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Thuglife counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Phreak thinking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Mister Thuglife will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Phreak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Phreak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Phreak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Phreak is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thuglife is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Thuglife pushes Phreak away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Phreak gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Phreak is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Thuglife is trying to escape and Phreak transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Thuglife is forced to tap! Nice work there by Phreak! Very nice indeed!
