Frein darts in looking for a takedown but Complex gets double underhooks and turns Frein into the cage.
Complex lands with a short shot to the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Frein.
A frustrated look appears on Frein's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Complex digs a right hand into Frein's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Frein's gas tank.
Frein looks winded!
Frein goes for a takedown in the clinch but Complex prevents it.
Frein's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Complex makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Complex.
Complex lands with a left to the head.
Complex could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Complex content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Complex lands a right hand that snaps the head of Frein backwards.
Complex lands a nice shot to the body.
Frein's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Complex takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Complex pushes Frein back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Frein is rocked!
Complex drops Frein onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Frein is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Frein is still on wobbly legs! Can Complex finish him?
Complex stalling in the clinch.
Complex dips a shoulder and cracks Frein with a mighty uppercut! Frein falls back against the cage and Complex unloads with a barrage of strikes! Frein is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Complex screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joey Complex!
