The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agno fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Acevedo shoots in for a takedown but Agno shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Acevedo is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Agno defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
