Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vihanen Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Tebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tebow swings widly with a right hand
and Perkele counters with a straight right hand.
Perkele scores with a jab. Tebow acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Tim Tebow has been cut.
Perkele lands with a nice body punch.
Tebow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Perkele stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Perkele wants it to stay on the feet.
Tebow wants to clinch but Perkele slips to the side
and Perkele cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Perkele gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tebow to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Perkele can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tebow controls the pace.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Perkele is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tebow wants to control from the top but Perkele keeps moving.

Tebow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perkele sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tebow somewhat.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tebow. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vihanen Perkele will probably get the nod.
