Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Petteri Ojanen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ojanen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by gonzalez.
Ojanen lands a really nice looking cross but gonzalez seems unphased.
gonzalez misses with a series of wild punches.
gonzalez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ojanen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
gonzalez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
gonzalez is trying to control the position but Ojanen postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
gonzalez working for a triangle but Ojanen defends it easily.

Ojanen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed gonzalez's guard.

gonzalez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ojanen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but gonzalez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Ojanen wants to work for an arm triangle but gonzalez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
gonzalez is looking for a sweep. Ojanen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ojanen is looking to advance position but gonzalez won't allow it.
Ojanen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ojanen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ojanen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming gonzalez to the mat! gonzalez manages to get full guard.
gonzalez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ojanen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ojanen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ojanen wants to control from the top but gonzalez keeps moving.

Ojanen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ojanen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ojanen stands and throws gonzalez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
gonzalez wants to get back to his feet but Ojanen drags him back down.

and Ojanen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ojanen misses with a few strikes there.
gonzalez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ojanen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
gonzalez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ojanen drops back looking for a leg! gonzalez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and gonzalez manages to kick Ojanen off! Ojanen jumps back into gonzalez's guard.
gonzalez is looking to stand up but Ojanen isn't so interested in that idea.

gonzalez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Ojanen prevents gonzalez from getting back to his feet.
gonzalez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ojanen misses with a kick to the body.
Ojanen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
gonzalez is trying to control Ojanen's posture but Ojanen avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petteri Ojanen dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ojanen just misses with a punch to the body.
Good leg kick by Ojanen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ojanen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

gonzalez tries to lock up and control but Ojanen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ojanen wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
gonzalez really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ojanen working for a guillotine from mount but gonzalez is in no mood to give up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

gonzalez tries to hold on but Ojanen postures up.
Ojanen takes gonzalez's back.
gonzalez just trying to survive but Ojanen is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
gonzalez is trying to get back to his feet but Ojanen has full control of the position and if anything, gonzalez has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ojanen is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged gonzalez with him. gonzalez is trying to defend but Ojanen has an arm under the chin now! gonzalez grimaces and is forced to tap out!
