Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herb Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes into the arena with Any Song by Bob Marley blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez misses the shot to the body.
Rodriguez throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rodriguez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Hunter misses with a body shot.
Rodriguez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rodriguez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rodriguez throws a series of punches but Hunter moves out of range.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side.

Rodriguez tries for a takedown but Hunter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hunter moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rodriguez thows a body shot but no joy.
Hunter lands with an overhand left.

enabling Hunter to counter with a crisp jab.

Ramon Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodriguez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rodriguez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rodriguez off to one side.
Nice shot lands for Hunter.

Hunter goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side.

Hunter tries a head kick but it misses.
Hunter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rodriguez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hunter is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rodriguez.

Rodriguez tries to clinch but Hunter is having none of it.
Rodriguez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rodriguez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rodriguez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hunter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rodriguez's head.
Rodriguez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rodriguez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Hunter counters with a head kick that drops Rodriguez to the mat! Rodriguez scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Hunter cracks Rodriguez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hunter lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Herb Hunter seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
