The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggs wants to clinch.

Medvedev slaps away a takedown attempt from Diggs, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Diggs fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Diggs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Medvedev avoids it really well and circles away.

Diggs feints and as Medvedev raises his hands in defense, Diggs changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Medvedev wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Diggs manages to pass to side control.

Medvedev lands with a hook. Diggs tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Diggs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Diggs is looking to take a break and control but Medvedev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Medvedev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diggs moves away.
Diggs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Medvedev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Diggs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Medvedev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Diggs postures up and lands a big shot to Medvedev's brow.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Diggs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Medvedev swivels and escapes.
Diggs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diggs lands in his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diggs is looking to work some ground and pound but Medvedev has wrist control.
Medvedev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Diggs controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Diggs is trying to drag Medvedev to the mat but Medvedev just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Diggs is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Medvedev pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Medvedev is trying to maintain a safe position but Diggs gets an underhook and turns Medvedev into the cage.

Diggs drops down looking for an ankle pick but Medvedev pulls his leg out and moves away.

Diggs shoots in and drives through. Medvedev sprawls well.
Diggs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Clay Diggs has been cut.
Medvedev ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diggs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Medvedev defends it nicely.

Dimka Medvedev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Diggs has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
