The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsbury throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tsosie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kingsbury fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tsosie manages to avoid it.
Kingsbury clobbers Tsosie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kingsbury ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tsosie moves away.

Kingsbury throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kingsbury fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tsosie is out of range.
Kingsbury lands with a cross.
Kingsbury cracks Tsosie with a good jab.

and Kingsbury takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kingsbury scores with a hook to the body. Tsosie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kingsbury scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tsosie doesn't seem bothered though.

Tsosie throws a shot from downtown. Kingsbury moves away and avoids it.
Kingsbury could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kingsbury swings for the body but Tsosie moves out of range.
Tsosie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kingsbury.

and Tsosie counters with a good low kick that Kingsbury was not able to check.

and Tsosie counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kingsbury's knee momentarily.
Tsosie connects with a solid leg kick.
Kingsbury is breathing heavily.
Kingsbury thows a body shot but no joy.
Kingsbury is looking to wear down Tsosie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kingsbury defending well as Tsosie loads up on a big left hand.
Tsosie goes for a double leg but Kingsbury avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Kingsbury continues to drive forward.

Tsosie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kingsbury does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kingsbury throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jerry Kingsbury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kingsbury ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tsosie moves away.

Tsosie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tsosie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tsosie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tsosie is looking to take a break and control but Kingsbury is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tsosie cracks Kingsbury with a big elbow.
Kingsbury is working to avoid the ground and pound but Tsosie connects with a decent elbow.

Tsosie scores with a couple of short elbows.
Tsosie lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kingsbury down.

Tsosie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kingsbury will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kingsbury knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tsosie on the ground.

Tsosie has an Americana. Kingsbury didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tsosie is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tsosie hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
