The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer drives through and clinches with Martin against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Martin obliges.
Martin landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Martin working Hammer over with knees to the body.
Hammer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Martin walks away with a smile on his face. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martin's waist but Martin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side.
Hammer swats away the attempt to clinch by Martin.

Hammer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Martin is trying to defend but Hammer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hammer stops Martin from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hammer moves into full mount! Martin won't be happy about that!

Martin is working to get back to half guard.
Martin is trying to stand up.
Martin has given up his back. Will we see Hammer going for some submissions?
Martin takes a big shot to the side of the head.

Hammer working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Martin is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Hammer has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Martin taps out!
