Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Shin Gouki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Cice Salace! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salace closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gouki did well to prevent Salace getting side control. Gouki tries to kick Salace off but Salace keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Salace prevents Gouki from improving his position. Salace winds up and cracks Gouki with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Gouki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Salace pulls his head out easily. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Salace throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Gouki controlling the position well. Salace is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gouki is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
