Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Jihad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Jimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jihad comes to the cage accompanied by America! Fuck Yeah!. Jared Jimmo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimmo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Good work by Jihad as he checks the leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jihad. Jimmo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jimmo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jihad feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jimmo has momentary wrist control but Jihad slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like Jared Jimmo has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jihad is looking to work some ground and pound but Jimmo has wrist control.
Jihad with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jihad chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jihad loads up on a big left hand. Jimmo felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jihad looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Jimmo can't hide his disappointment, as Jihad celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mohammed Jihad!
After winning the bout, Mohammed Jihad thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
