Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doppo Orochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost comes into the arena with ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ blaring out of the sound system. Elvis Frost has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elvis Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Doppo Orochi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost thows a left - swing and a miss!
Orochi moves in looking to clinch but Frost pushes him off.
Frost checks a leg kick.
Orochi wants to clinch.
Orochi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A nice leg kick lands there from Orochi.
Frost misses the shot to the body.
Frost looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Frost throws a leg kick
and Orochi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Orochi is looking to clinch but Frost is avoiding it.
Frost lands a glancing blow to the side of Orochi's head.
Orochi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Orochi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
An inside leg kick from Frost misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Orochi tries to close the distance and clinch but Frost swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Frost stuns Orochi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Frost checks a leg kick nicely.
Orochi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Orochi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Orochi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Frost scores with a head kick.


It looks like Doppo Orochi has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orochi misses the shot to the body.
Frost throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Frost works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Orochi tries to clinch but Frost moves away

and Frost counters with a crisp right hand that drops Orochi! Frost lets Orochi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Orochi is rocked!
Doppo Orochi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Orochi moves into the clinch.
Orochi is still on wobbly legs! Can Frost finish him?
Orochi lands with a left to the head.
Orochi seems to have recovered his senses.
Orochi misses with a punch on the inside.
Frost jumps guard but Orochi stands there with Frost around his waist. Frost gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Frost lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Frost tries to pull guard but Orochi holds him up against the cage and eventually Frost drops back down to his feet.
Frost with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Frost misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Orochi.
Orochi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Frost fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elvis Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Orochi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Orochi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Frost backwards.
Frost using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Orochi has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Orochi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Frost or not.
Frost landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Orochi struggles to land a body shot inside as Frost controls his hands.
Frost blocking some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Frost fails to land.
Orochi scores with a nice hook to the head.
Orochi tries to land a knee to the head but Frost blocks with his arms.
Frost slowing the pace effectively.
A head punch on the inside from Orochi fails to land.
Orochi trying to land knees to the body.
Orochi scores with a shoulder strike.
Frost scores with a shot to the side of Orochi's head.
Orochi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Orochi blocking some punches.
A left hand lands to the body for Frost.
Orochi lands a left hand that snaps the head of Frost backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orochi throws a head punch that misses.

Frost ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Frost no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Orochi trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Frost throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Frost controls Orochi momentarily but Orochi frees himself.
Frost avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Frost escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orochi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Orochi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Frost is keeping the position for now.
Frost trying to keep a closed guard but Orochi is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Orochi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Frost has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Orochi is looking to defend but Frost has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Orochi! Frost pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Orochi taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Elvis Frost!
A relieved looking Elvis Frost thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
