Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kiett Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Plague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plague has chosen Calibrate the Virus by Winter Solstice as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Li drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Plague working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Li doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Li manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Plague escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Li gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Li feints and as Plague raises his hands in defense, Li changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Plague had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Li is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Plague Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Li's back instead.

Plague is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Plague gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Plague gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Plague apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Plague counters with a three punch combo that has Li backing up. Li nods at Plague to acknowledge the strikes.
