Ferrell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gators speech. Bill Ferrell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ferrell.

Blackmore dives in and grabs Ferrell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ferrell pushes down on Blackmore's head and hops out.

Chris Blackmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blackmore tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ferrell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ferrell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ferrell lands in his opponent's guard.
Ferrell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Blackmore is in a horrible position here. Ferrell smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ferrell is landing with some decent strikes but Blackmore is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
