Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Khalil Zidane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zidane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tool - Jimmy. Kotaro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dance Yourself Clean kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khalil Zidane!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yoshida Kotaro!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotaro throws a head kick but Zidane moves out of range.
Zidane with a jab.
A good leg kick by Zidane.
Kotaro tries a head kick but it misses.
Kotaro walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kotaro throws a sloppy head kick and Zidane moves out of range easily.
Zidane lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Zidane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zidane lands a lovely overhand right.

Kotaro misses with a hook. Zidane ducked under it nicely.
Kotaro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zidane.
Kotaro misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zidane swats away the attempt to clinch by Kotaro.
Zidane blocks a head kick by Kotaro.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zidane throws a leg kick but Kotaro moved away.
An inside leg kick lands from Zidane.
Kotaro tries to clinch but Zidane moves out of range.
Zidane lands an overhand right.
Zidane keeps the fight on the outside.
Zidane throws a hook to the side of Kotaro's head but Kotaro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zidane thows a body shot but no joy.
Kotaro on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kotaro tries a head kick but it misses.
Zidane circles away from the clinch attempt
and Zidane counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That kick from Zidane tenderised Kotaro's leg. Kotaro is trying to keep his angry face on.
Zidane keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kotaro is rocked!
It looks like Yoshida Kotaro has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zidane throws a monster overhand right that drops Kotaro! Zidane follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khalil Zidane!
Khalil Zidane retains his bantamweight title!
After the fight, Khalil Zidane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
