The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Chekhemani, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chekhemani scores with a one two! Query had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Chekhemani looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Query clinches with his opponent.
Query decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Chekhemani wants to control from the top but Query keeps moving.
Chekhemani in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Query managing to control the position.
Query scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Chekhemani throws a series of punches but Query avoids them all with ease.
Query throws a series of strikes that have Chekhemani backpedaling.
It looks like Nawal Chekhemani has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Query misses with a series of wild punches.

Chekhemani breaks the clinch.
Query dives in for a single leg takedown but Chekhemani sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Query wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Query tries to circle away but Chekhemani has him pinned against the cage.
Query wants to stall.
Query's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Query doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Query takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nate Query seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Query misses with a wild body shot.
Query thows a leg kick but Chekhemani checks it
and Chekhemani counters with a series of strikes. Query will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chekhemani connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Query tumbling to the canvas! Chekhemani pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Query was done - good stoppage!
