The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Canas doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wilde counters by moving into the clinch. Wilde looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Canas drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Canas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wilde is aware though and is defending well. Canas looking for a sweep. Not yet Canas, not yet.
Wilde is sitting in close to Canas's body. Canas has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wilde is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wilde is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Canas.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Joseph Canas! Joseph Canas decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
