The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smokers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakumura swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smokers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nakumura avoids the head kick by Smokers.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Smokers just misses with a elbow thrown towards Nakumura's brow.

Smokers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nakumura throws an elbow that misses. Smokers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nakumura's guard. Nice move by Smokers!
