Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernandez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Yakety Sax kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn scores with a leg kick.
Vaughn leaves Fernandez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Vaughn is looking to land body kicks.
Fernandez throws a right hand that Vaughn ducks under and follows up with a left that Vaughn also avoids with ease.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fernandez.
Vaughn is looking to chop away at Fernandez's legs.
Fernandez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vaughn circles away.

Vaughn lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Fernandez jumps guard but Vaughn stands there with Fernandez around his waist. Fernandez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Vaughn.
Vaughn misses with an elbow strike.
Fernandez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vaughn to keep the fight standing.
Vaughn lands a big knee! That's hurt Fernandez! Oh, he's all over the place! Vaughn lands another knee that sends Fernandez to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
