Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Korczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kermit Earlandson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Earlandson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: the theme from titanic. The key to victory for Lukasz Korczynski has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earlandson shoots for a takedown but Korczynski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Earlandson.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Korczynski is looking for a sweep.
Korczynski tries to escape but Earlandson is in control.
Earlandson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Korczynski keeps working.

Earlandson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Korczynski has escaped the position, nice work there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Earlandson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Korczynski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Earlandson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Korczynski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Earlandson shoots in but Korczynski avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lukasz Korczynski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kermit Earlandson.
No joy there for Earlandson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Earlandson feints and as Korczynski raises his hands in defense, Earlandson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Earlandson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Korczynski defends it well.

Earlandson shoots in looking for a takedown. Korczynski tries to sprawl out of it but Earlandson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Korczynski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Earlandson fails to land the takedown.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Earlandson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Korczynski sprawls well. Korczynski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Earlandson gets slowly back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Earlandson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Korczynski has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Earlandson but great work by Korczynski.

Korczynski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Korczynski moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Earlandson.
Earlandson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Korczynski off and has taken his back!

Earlandson sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Korczynski taps out!
