Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Broncovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wright scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wright remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Broncovich tries to bench press Wright off him but Wright keeps the position.

Wright tries to clinch up but Broncovich circles away and keeps his distance.

Wright throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Broncovich on the side of the head.

Broncovich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

No joy there for Wright, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wright will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Broncovich loads up on a big right hand but Wright slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Broncovich fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wright sprawls well initially but Broncovich persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Broncovich is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wright is just riding it out for now. Broncovich eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Broncovich looks to land a strike but Wright avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Broncovich wants to control from the top but Wright keeps moving.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Broncovich shoots in looking for a takedown. Wright tries to sprawl out of it but Broncovich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wright manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Wright closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Broncovich to the mat! Broncovich manages to get full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Steven Wright will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Broncovich looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wright works the jab nicely.

Wright changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Broncovich looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Broncovich is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wright's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wright's back!

Broncovich working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Wright is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Broncovich has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Wright taps out!
