PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dexter Morgan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dexter Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 21 - 0, fighting out of London, William Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Harrison's hands.
Harrison slaps away a takedown attempt from Morgan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Harrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Morgan tries to sprawl out of it but Harrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morgan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Morgan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harrison was covering up waiting for the punch and Morgan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Morgan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Harrison throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Morgan escapes and throws Harrison's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Harrison keeps working.

Morgan dives in and grabs Harrison's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harrison pushes down on Morgan's head and hops out.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morgan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harrison sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Morgan stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Harrison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Harrison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morgan as he jumps to the side.

Morgan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harrison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

This has been an exciting period of action!

William Harrison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Well Morgan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
