Cardoso throws a body punch but Mayweather Jr moves out of range.
Mayweather Jr takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Cardoso counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Cardoso wants to free his trapped foot but Mayweather Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Cardoso is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mayweather Jr is just riding it out for now. Cardoso eventually gives up the hold.

Cardoso is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Mayweather Jr knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Mayweather Jr for a finish.

After the fight, Renato Cardoso was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
