The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Simpson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Simpson works Alamancha's body with a nice hook.
Simpson loads up on a big right hand but Alamancha slips the punch.
Alamancha pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simpson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Alamancha's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Alamancha's back!

Alamancha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Simpson.

Alamancha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Simpson is fending him off so far but Alamancha persists. Nope, Simpson circles away and we're back to standing.
Simpson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alamancha.
Alamancha with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simpson to score with a decent uppercut.
Alamancha is still on wobbly legs! Can Simpson finish him?
Simpson shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Alamancha takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Simpson sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Alamancha bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
