Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Timur Uzbaijzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skyler Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: One. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzbaijzky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Uzbaijzky. Nelson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Uzbaijzky moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Uzbaijzky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Uzbaijzky gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Nelson counters with a shoot takedown. Uzbaijzky fights it but they end up in guard.

Nelson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Uzbaijzky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground.

Nelson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Uzbaijzky wants to stand up but Nelson is controlling him.

Nelson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Nelson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Uzbaijzky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nelson, into his guard.
Uzbaijzky working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nelson has a closed guard, preventing Uzbaijzky from standing up.

Nelson has his feet on Uzbaijzky's thighs here. He's pushed Uzbaijzky off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Uzbaijzky screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
