Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams dives in for a single leg takedown but Newton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Newton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Williams goes for a double leg but Newton avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Newton continues to drive forward.
Williams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Xanadu Newton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dorian Williams.

Newton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Newton stalks Williams and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Williams's face. Williams staggers backwards, shaken.

Williams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Newton to score with a decent uppercut.

Good leg kick by Newton there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Newton lands a big head kick that sends Williams tumbling to the mat! Newton takes a step backwards and waves Williams back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The cut above Dorian Williams's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Newton lands a head kick. Williams smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Newton throws a leg kick which misses Williams's front leg but catches the back leg as Williams tries to avoid it.
Williams's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Newton feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Newton! Williams is out on his feet! Newton rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Williams is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Williams is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
