The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bum wants to clinch
enabling Marella to counter with a crisp jab.
Bum tries to clinch up.
Marella bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Marella fails with the takedown.

Marella tries to keep at a distance but Bum has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bum throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bum gets underhooks to prevent Marella's takedown attempt.
Bum tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marella smiles and moves away.

Bum gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bum tries to break free but Marella pushes him back against the cage.

Marella escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bum tries to clinch up but Marella circles away and keeps his distance.
Marella tries a head kick but it misses.
Bum wants to clinch up but Marella keeps it at a distance.

and Marella counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
