Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by Mosh By Eminem. Wilkinson has chosen Nine Inch Nails - 1,000,000 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Wilkinson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Wilkinson clinches with his opponent.

Wilkinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wilkinson as he jumps to the side.
Ortiz closes the distance and clinches up with Wilkinson, looking for a takedown. Ortiz pushes Wilkinson against the cage but Wilkinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Ortiz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wilkinson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wilkinson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wilkinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ortiz as he avoids it easily.

Ortiz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ortiz is bucking up trying to escape but Wilkinson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Wilkinson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ortiz is on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ortiz postures up in Wilkinson's guard and throws a big left but Wilkinson blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wilkinson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ortiz looking to sit in guard and control but Wilkinson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wilkinson trying to control the position from guard on top but Ortiz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ortiz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wilkinson is one step ahead there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wilkinson stands up and waves to Ortiz to follow him.

Wilkinson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ortiz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well Wilkinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
